“Simple stamping and bright colors always seem to be my go-to and that’s just what I created for today with the Watercolor Textures: Brushstrokes. The large brushstroke image created the perfect background for my sentiment and images to sit on!”

“I chose a very soft and subtle color palette for my Watercolor Textures:  Brushstrokes tags.  I love seeing how colors blend when stamped over one another and the images in this stamp set are such a fun way to explore color and add your own personality to!”

“I absolutely adore the watercolor background look and I enjoy it even more when it’s quick and easy to achieve!  This set is perfect for so many different techniques but my favorite is a simple watercolor look!  With just ink, water, and watercolor paper I created a colorful and festive background.  I already know that this simple but essential set is going to be a staple for me!”

“I created the watercolored texture by inking up my stamp in Tropical Teal ink, stamping it once on scrap paper, and then stamping it on a panel of white cardstock.  It gives it a soft, textural appearance and I welcomed the “imperfections” this technique left in the brushstroke images.  The card itself went through several variations until I stripped it down to just minimal details–the stamped brushstroke pattern, a simple sentiment, tiny pink hearts, and a pink bow.  It’s simple, but it’s just right!”

Happy Memorial Day Weekend! To enjoy the holiday weekend from a stamping perspective, we are sharing some cards using Many Anemones stamps and dies. “I absolutely love using watercolors on heat embossed line art images. The Many Anemones stamp set is so perfect for this technique because of the delicate results that you can achieve. I kept my watercoloring loose for a soft and subtle effect.”

“I absolutely LOVE how easy and versatile this set is!  Bold and graphic, soft and pretty, as well as elegant are all looks you can achieve just by changing up your stamping technique!  I combined ink blending with a subtle outline color to give my card a softer look.  The two step images make it easy to give the flowers depth and movement!”

“The beautifully delicate floral dies from Many Anemones and lovely Frame It Out: Wishes sentiments/dies create a CAS card with lots of wonderful white space and subtle striping, while the True Black/Simply Chartreuse accents allow the Anemones to pop off the page! Wouldn’t this simple design be great as a card set….. incorporating each of the Frame It Out:Wishes large and/or small sentiments?”

“My creative heart is always drawn towards floral sets. Many Anemones is an absolutely gorgeous set filled with a variety of different floral images. The stamp set alone will create the most beautiful projects, but add in the amazing die collection and you’ll never run out of ideas when creating with it!”

“I was so excited to see Many Anemones by Jennifer Campbell and it makes the most beautiful blooms!  I highlighted them by keeping this card simple–no die cutting or fancy finishes here; just stamping.  The warm florals and light, soft green leaves in the 2- and 3-step stamps bring the card to life and give the petals movement.  Not only is this a beautiful floral set, but it will always have a place in my heart because my daughter’s name is Anemone!”

Saturday Showcase | Rustic Brick Background

“Rustic Brick Background is one of my favorite stamp sets from the release. I appreciate brick on the exterior and interior of homes, so to be able to make a card with a brick pattern is so awesome. There are a few ways to use the stamp set and I am sharing one way and that is to get a watercolor effect by misting water and stamping on watercolor paper. When stamped in bright colors, the brick pattern really stands out, but I also like it in neutral tones for a subtle background design.”

Ashley Newell

[modula id=”3726″]

“Following and implementing home decor trends can be just as much fun on paper as it can be in your home! I used the new Rustic Brick stamp set paired with modern calligraphy and simple greens to create a card inspired by the current trends! It's definitely easier on your wallet and doesn't require months of renovations! Ha ha!”

Kelly Lunceford

[modula id=”3732″]

“The new Rustic Brick stamp set is hands down the most versatile and gorgeous background stamp! Not only is it perfect for any occasion (masculine, feminine, baby, birthday, thank you etc.) but works so well for almost any style as well! From soft and sweet to bold and graphic, this is THE perfect background!”

Laurie Schmidlin

[modula id=”3738″]

“The Rustic Brick background set is sure to get a lot of love from me in the studio. Masculine cards are always a challenge for me, but this will be just the set I need to easily create cards for the men in my life. It's also perfect for creating more feminine cards, like I did for today. A few cheerful colors and flowers give this background even more versatility!”

Melissa Bickford

[modula id=”3743″]

“Rustic Brick is such a fun stamp set to use. I love that it can go from soft and subtle to bold and bright depending on how you choose to use it. I wanted it to be shown off but not overpower the Many Anemones images I used on my card today, so I heat embossed it in white and added a few splatters for character.”

Melissa Phillips

[modula id=”3747″]

“Backgrounds are becoming some of my go-to stamp sets for cards these days, and I'm excited to add Rustic Brick to my collection. I love the idea of a party set-up with a brick background, so that's where I drew inspiration for my card today--lots of balloons, pretty trims, happy colors, a big wish, and they're all set up against the backdrop of that great brick design!”
