Melissa’s Fab Friday Feature

Hello, Everyone! Welcome to Melissa’s Fab Friday Feature

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

 

STEP 1: After die cutting oval from cardstock, blend Aqua Mist and Hawaiian Shores ink to upper portion of oval.

STEP 2: Using the Birthday Bouquet stamp set, stamp stems to center of oval using Spring Moss ink.

STEP 3: Stamp flowers to Birthday Bouquet stems.

STEP 4: Die cut a second oval from Sheer Basics vellum.  Cut sentiment from glitter cardstock using the To Die For:  Mother’s Day die.  Layer over base oval.

STEP 5: Stamp and die cut assorted florals using Birthday Bouquet stamp set and adhere to top layer.

STEP 6: Die cut leaves from patterned paper and adhere under flowers.  Adhere sequins.  Assemble card base and attach finished ovals to center of card.

ABOUT PROJECT: REACH OUT:

Due to the Coronavirus, many of us are separated from our family and friends which in some cases has caused feelings of loneliness, boredom, depression, and maybe a bit of frustration being stuck at home! This is the perfect time to reach out and touch someone to let them know how important they are to you or to let someone in your community know how much you appreciate all of their hard work. With that in mind, Project: Reach Out was created.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:

Each week a member of the design team has identified a theme as a challenge for you to create something based on the chosen theme. Once you have completed, please upload a photo of what you created via InLinkz and of course make sure you send it out. If you don’t have anywhere to send your project, send it to us, and we will make sure it gets to just the right person!

Kindness and appreciation go such a long way, sending a beautiful hand-made card is the perfect way to let someone know you are thinking of them. We hope you find enjoyment while participating in this new series of challenges.
