PROJECT Reach Out: Gratitude

By May 1, 2020 May 13th, 2020 Design Team Tips, General

Hi everyone, we’re so glad you’re here!

We are very excited to introduce Project: Reach Out. Below, you can find details about this great new feature.

Due to the Coronavirus, many of us are separated from our family and friends which in some cases has caused feelings of loneliness, boredom, depression, and maybe a bit of frustration being stuck at home! This is the perfect time to reach out and touch someone to let them know how important they are to you or to let someone in your community know how much you appreciate all of their hard work. With that in mind, Project: Reach Out was created.

Each week a member of the design team has identified a theme as a challenge for you to create something based on the chosen theme. Once you have completed, please upload a photo of what you created via InLinkz and of course make sure you send it out. If you don’t have anywhere to send your project, send it to us, and we will make sure it gets to just the right person!

Kindness and appreciation go such a long way, sending a beautiful hand-made card is the perfect way to let someone know you are thinking of them. We hope you find enjoyment while participating in this new series of challenges. We are excited to see what you create and to also uplift our communities the best we know how…sharing our love of crafting.

Kelly Lunceford is joining us today to share her Gratitude projects.

I think we’re all looking for ways to keep our spirits up and improve our mood during this uncertain time. One of the things that helps me, is to count my blessings and find things I’m grateful for! I’ve been sending cards of gratitude to friends and family during this time as I think of the kindness and joy they bring to me life! Let’s reach out by creating some thank you/ gratitude cards for the special people in our lives! I’m also sharing a bonus card on my blog today!

I love the word grateful, it conveys a depth that sometimes I don’t think a thank you does. And that card is amazing! I love the poka dots with the flower wreath. Fun & upbeat combined with pretty.
