As soon as possible! Once I have an idea in my head I go with it. If I wait too long into the season, I get too overwhelmed with everything else…..If I start in October everything about Christmas is fresh & exciting!
Sue says
So many of my friends are finished all their cards by September. I have over 50 to make and I’m afraid I leave it until at least October since I have so many other things to do. I like to finish at least a month in advance which gives me a good feeling of accomplishment.

Sometimes things change up a little as the months go on and the ones I make in September are the best. Thanks for another great release.

Usually I start after Halloween week, but this year since I’m giving my family a set of Christmas cards to send out I started in August. It was definitely an advantage that I may continue next year because I was able to get supplies very few people were looking for in August. I got Red, gold and white glitter paper, took advantage of sales on Christmas dies, etc.

Although I have been papercrafting for many years, I have yet to find the time to make holiday cards to send to friends and family and it’s not unusual for me to be writing our family Christmas letter and addressing store bought Christmas cards the week between Christmas and New Years.
