Saturday Showcase | On the Border: Fall for Foliage

By | General, Saturday Showcase | 3 Comments

Today, we are diving into fall! Let’s take a closer look at On the Border: Fall for Foliage die collection.

“During the August release, my Fall for Foliage projects were very much fall-inspired — dark and moody, with quintessential autumn colors.  All of the amazing autumn products had me in the mood for that, but for today’s project, I decided to go a completely different route and brighten things up.  Even though my stamps and dies are still autumnal, adding shiny glitter cardstock and a lighter color palette makes them feel a little less sweater weather and a lot more late summer!

“There are so many creative ways to use the beautiful On the Border:  Fall Foliage die collection.  I’ve die cut my borders from watercolor cardstock and then sponged on a variety of fall colors.  After spritzing them with water, I watched the leaves come to life and blend softly together.”

“I’ve loved using the new On the Border: Fall for Foliage die for lots of Autumn inspired projects, but today I thought I’d try it in a cleaner, more modern way! It paired perfectly with the “For You” sentiment to create a crisp, streamlined thank you card. I love stretching my supplies to use them in many different ways!”

Rebecca’s Transformation Tuesday | Make a Wish Card

By | General, Transformation Tuesday | One Comment

“My original card was just what I had in mind when I designed the Frame it Out: Wishes stamp set.  That is, a quick and easy style to create.  It’s simple, minimal, and the perfect candidate for a fun makeover with a lot more detail and a much bolder color palette!  I’ve only made a few changes, yet the resulting card is almost completely different than the original.”

Saturday Showcase | Birdie

Let’s take a closer look at the Birdie stamp and die collection!

“My yard is filled with trees and as autumn arrives, I love watching the leaves change colors and begin to fall! For today’s card, I created a “window’s view” type perspective with the depth and size of the branch and leaves! I loved using so many of the new release products on this autumn thank you card!”

“Birdie is such a sweet and peaceful set. I love all of the bits and pieces included for building a beautiful tree branch. But for today, I chose a cheery, non traditional autumn color palette for my card and focused on just the flowers to create a pretty floral border. I also mixed it with a couple of must have dies from a previous release!”

“Overflowing with flowers, sweet birds, lovely bird cages, and heartfelt sentiments…how can you not be smitten with the new Birdie set?  I created a soft and airy design that would would work for many different occasions.  I combined this charming set with a couple of previously released products that I felt complimented each other very well!”

Michelle’s Transformation Tuesday | Thank You Card

By | General, Transformation Tuesday | 2 Comments

“I love each Transformation Tuesday post because it provides a chance to revisit a past project, which in this case was a project from the very first Ink to Paper release of May 2019! While my original card used dies exclusively (with the exception of the Just Sentiments: Tags ‘hello beautiful’ stamp), this new card incorporates cooler, more fall-like, colors (PrairieGrass/Pinefeather/Blueberry Sky/Enchanted Evening) and a plethora of stamped and die cut florals and greenery to create the free form wreath. The petite banner from Banner Builder: Basics and the crisp, clean ‘thank you’ sentiment are the finishing touches.”
